With Byron talking about living in a Storage Unit, I’m surprised Summer didn’t ask him if he knew Hiro Protagonist…
ComputerKing, we were too stunned to say anything. As whacked out as it may seem to you listeners, it was even more so for us, trying to do the show. As Summer says in the show notes, words fail.
All hail the great and powerful beings that are the first ones …Summer is God ….
Is that enough sucking up?
Okay sorry about the audio quality of my call from a cell phone and I may have not been as prepared as Yarsto but his audio is often better than Tim’s or even some of the guests.
When is Yarsto starting his own show for the listeners that actually enjoy the deep geeking about the shows …B5 not so much the podcasts?
Moving on…. The Long Dark is what some of us were hoping to talk about or at least hoped that the podcast would be about. Here’s food for thought, B5 meets the A-Team and In The Heat of the Night and the doc gets a date………..
ps I never like playing in the sandbox!
Yeah, we’re trying to get on with the DeepGeeking… but when Jeffrey comes up with interviews, we are very much on the schedules of our guests.
My voice quality is an ongoing situation. Believe me, if I could do better, I would. On the other hand, Jarsto is prerecording his comments and sending them in as MP3 files.
And we’ve got the year end extravaganza coming up.
So, please be patient with us. We’ll get to the Geeking. Promise!

Greetings fellow B-5 fans
The Keefer starfury pilot character was a product of TNT making a suggestion to JMS accorrding to JMS on the DVD commentary. JMS puts in the “top gun like pilot” but ends up killing him off in Vorlon fashion.
The Cortez is exploring the rim, sector 800 i believe and that is moving towards Zahudum’s galactic address. It only makes sense that the shadows might be shadowing a ship that is exploring near their neighborhood. Okay its not the greatest B5 episode but its good for laying the foundation for the Egyptian prayer which is echoed later. The relationship between Sheridan and Maynard is great for anyone that has ever served in the military and speaks to the stories of misadventure, the stories instead of just the war/combat stories and you can feel the bond between the characters. The ribbing Maynard gives Sheridan is realistic and the best way to think of it is of two old salty Navy ship captains and the difference between having a shore command verses being out to sea. My favorite line is “the pull of the big empty”.
how is this for a sign off “Do you have anything worth living for? …the babylon5podcast
Reposting …bad voice better at typing …PURPLE!!!
that was the funniest podcast that has ever come on air… i’m in tears from laughing.
Hi guys!
B5 inspired variations? There’s always the infamous “A Very Drazi Xmas!”

You might even have my long drawn-out audio comment about it hanging around someplace.
I would love to get a copy of the video of Harlan singing the songs. If anybody has a copy of the Loscon 1996 JMS/Harlan panel, please let me know.
What a fun train wreck! Great job.
