Sorry devoted Live Feed listeners. No live feed tonight. Mike has a pet emergency and can’t host and engineer the show tonight.
No need to fear. We’ll return next week with some fresh live feed goodness.
Until then here’s a few thoughts:
Why was Lyta kicked out of her room for lack of space when all of Grey 17 was empty?
Does Rising Star work as a better ending than Objects at Rest?

I hope Mike’s emergency is resolved without incident.
Does this mean they’re recording at Farpoint West instead?
Great first time in months I have a spare five seconds to listen to the stream and it’s cancelled.
So is there a recording that will go out next week? Also when do we find out who won the contest?
Looks like next week will be a skip week for posting, unless we hear otherwise. The live feed is expacted back next week.
No recording at FPM LA, as Jeffrey was attending a meeting; had the show been recorded, he would have phoned in from that location.
All of Gray 17 was NOT empty. Did you see all that crap that was piled up in there?
Objects at Rest is the better ending, leading into Sleeping In Light. To say more would be knowing. Zathras does not know. Not knowing, Zathras cannot say more.
Even though Lyta wasn’t considered much by the command staff of B5, except for Zach, at least they liked her enough to not tell her “Lyta, we’re gonna need to go ahead and move you downstairs into Gray Sector. We have some new people coming in, and we need all the space we can get. So if you could just go ahead and pack up your stuff and move it down there, that would be terrific, OK.”
Rising Star is a good episode, but would only be great for someone who likes the traditional ending. If that’s the case, then why spend 4 years watching a series that had a habit for breaking traditions?
So for me, Objects at Rest is better, because of what preceded it for that season. Even the telepath colony, though it was shoved down our throats for 12 straight episodes. It also showed us better than Rising Star did that while the story in this 5 year block of time has come to it’s end, the story that that 5 year block is part of continues on.
I just wonder, if Babylon 5 wasn’t made into a television series, but instead was done as a series of 5 novels, would we be discussing which chapter of which book we liked better?
David: *LOL* I just pictured Kosh saying “If you go to my red stapler, you will die.”
All good thoughts to Mike, hope his pet emergency resolved and everyone’s fine again.
