Mike, you thought me doing the West Side Story parody was a good idea? Dude, you've heard me sing. Do you think I could write a tune any better than I could carry one? ;-)

Hi Steve,

I haven't yet had the chance to watch Crusade, I am still waiting for the DVDs to make it to the top of my renting list ;)

I will take into consideration your points when I continue watching, but I am afraid it will be hard to change my opinion. Nevertheless, the angle you mentioned is something I had not considered before. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hi Starstuff,

I reckon most of that is because she is on screen with people who have "lived with" their characters for at least 3 or 4 years, whereas she is trying to get to grips with her character. And lets be honest SciFi isnt the easiest thing for actors to adapt to.

If you look at the Crusade episodes she appears in, she really shines, as she now knows the character, and the writers know how best to use her.

She was always going to struggle following such a fan favourite as Susan, but when she got into the character I think she proved she could do it well.

Let Jeffrey do all the promotions from now on! I find myself looking forward to the next podcast to hear what the Vorlon comes up with next. Great work, Jeffrey!

And since we are discussing season 5: I am re-watching the series as you do the podcast, and I find that I hate the Lochley character even more than before.

I find her stereotypical, badly acted out and overall completely unbelievable. It might have something to do with the acting (which I don't find convincing at all), but I always cringe when she appears on the screen.

Watching the scene where she confronts Garibaldi in the cell (after she had him thrown in there for his attack on Bester) was aweful. Jerry Doyle gave one of his best sarcastic Garibaldi performances and Lochley wasn't there at all. No presence, no real emotion, everything seemed artificial.

At least we had to endure her only for one season.

(Alright, now critizise me for my criticism)

Damn, I picked a heck of a week to go on vacation, and miss the live feed. Luckily my presence was still felt. I still think they should be called Garypaloozas.
