Wow! It’s been 12 years. I’ve been looking forward to a Babylon 5 podcast for awhile. Great inaugural show and you got Jeffrey Willerth on board. Awesome!

I’m subscribed and I’m re-watching the show now.

This is a fantastic project. I look forward to hearing more about Babylon 5 from both the fan and cast perspective. Listening to Jeffrey is always fun and he can provide both a cast and behind-the-scene perspective.

Great idea! I was just listening to the commentaries on some of B5 DVDs and wishing there was more..and more..and more…can’t get enough B5, canya?! ๐Ÿ™‚ I haven’t listened yet (I’m at work), but am looking forward to this immensely.

Suggested discussion point for the show: we hear a lot about how B5 came in under-budget thanks to careful planning, early script delivery etc, and how unusual that was for the time. Ten years have passed…have other sci-fi shows learned the B5 lesson and done the same thing, or are they doing what they always did: changing scripts at the last minute, filming at 2AM to make the deadline etc.

Also if you could get actors/crew/writers from other shows to tell us about how B5 affected them (if it did!), we always like to hear about that ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello!!! – I’d been pondering trying to do a B5 podcast myself, but life – job – etc. One thing I’d LOVE to see in adition to commentary, interviews etc. is an episode by episode discussion. That gives you a block of 120 + casts.

    Thanks and looking forward!!!

Great intro cast, I can’t wait for more! I actually finished rewatching all five seasons recently, so my basic knowledge is certainly up to date again. I hope to hear more of these very soon.

Okay, how cool is this? I couldn’t believe there weren’t a gazillion B5 ‘casts out there when I first started looking, much less nada one. Way to step up to the plate!

Well, for whatever it’s worth, I took it upon myself to pimp your show over at Television Without Pity. I’m gambling any added interest is worth the chance of that crowd bringing the snark thisaway. You can handle ’em.

Thank you all for this podcast!

A lot of good info has already come from this first podcast.

I have a question for “the man in the suit” JW, I’m sure that there’s more involved for JW than being a glorified “coat hook” for the suit, what “acting” skills were required for this job and what kind of choices did you have to make when potraying this character?

    Thanks to all!!

Just finally listening to this, and I’m SO glad you guys are doing this. It’s probably been two years since I saw anything B5 related and it’s way too long. I started watching the show in middle school/high school when Sci-Fi was running the show every weekday and I think I watched it every day for a year. I really grew attached to the show and it still has a special place in my heart. Anything that can get more people talking about B5 again is okay in my book. ^_^ Can’t wait for more episodes, so keep the podcast coming!

    Thanks!

Hey! I just realized that it is a B5 podcast jubilee. It has been ten years since you guys started the podcast. It was a joy to listen to the podcast for all the years and episodes. It rekindled my B5 interest. I hope you guys are doing great today.

    -Cheers!

Wow… 10 years. Time flies when you’re having fun, eh?

I really should finish cleaning up the site, make the episodes more easy to search and all!

You could perhaps make them easier to find with a B5-episode list and a interview list as well. Sometimes you are here for the episode geekery and sometimes for the interviews, after all. Still, it is a lot easier to find stuff on this page, as it is, than compared to many other podcasts pages. So it must have been constructed well to start with.

Oh, and perhaps make something out of the quote generator we talked about some years ago. I have not managed to listen through all the shows and note down all the hilariousness yet though.
