Welcome to Show #86!

Tim, Summer, Jeffrey and Mike welcome in-studio guest Keith, and together we celebrate the end of LostTalesaPalooza, and rejoice The Return of the Deep Geeking (Series Edition)!

Jeffrey poses a question to all: why wasn’t there a dentist on Babylon 5? We ponder the reasons why…

Deep Geeking: The Deep Geeking commences again with Tim, Summer and Keith talking about “Voices of Authority”, from Season 3.

Listener Feedback: Voicemails, and emails, and riddles… oh my! Summer misses the Haikus.

Babylon 5 Information Gathering: Can we and should we mount a Babylon 5 propaganda campaign, in order to get sales of The Lost Tales to the point where Warner really really wants to greelight more volumes of TLT? Let us know…

Summer still wants to find the long versions of the B5 promos that ran on TNT prior to Season 5, the ones narrated by Keith David… anyone have any old VHS copies of S5 they taped from TNT? Specifically, the :30 spots, one featuring Ivanova and the other G’Kar… they were part of the series of ads TNT ran promoting the addition of B5 to their lineup.

Your feedback does matter, and is welcome! You can call us, or email us and tell us what you think… and likely hear it played or read on the show. Please try to keep the voicemail comments as brief as possible.

Somewhere on one of my old PCs, I have one of the original long intros with Keith David’s voice saying something like, “Coming to TNT this fall…”. Voice snippets include G’Kar yelling out from Season 1 “Their (centauri) time has come and gone; it’s our turn now!” Will see if I can find it.

    VoA:

One thing you didn’t mention in the Geeking:

Remember back in Season 1 when Catharine Sakai had that critical failure in her ship?

That was Sigma 957, Zog’s home, and we saw him way back then, too! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Zog looks an awful lot like Booji. Maybe the Vorlons were duped by Zog before their ascension to first one status and stole the idea?

Kurt – yes, you are right, we missed touching on that point. Hand slaps all around. ๐Ÿ™‚ Gary, are you certain Zog (if that’s really a name) looks like Booji? I thought Booji resembled galvanized steel more that wood.

Is that Karl Rove thing that was mentioned documented anywhere? I have some friends who would love this but they will not believe me.

Love the show! Keep up the great work!
