On the topic of B5 fan films, check out Star Wreck if you haven’t already. It’s a Trek/B5 parody from 2005, but it shows what fans can do with a tiny budget on their spare time. Granted, it took them 7 years..

That Gary from Jacksonville is great. His comments are insightful and whitty. It seems like he is becoming a regular feature on the podcast. Good move in my opinion.
I think Mike should make him a bumper, or let him do the tag for the voice mail number. He practically owns that segment already.
Tim, Summer, Jeffrey and Brad were ok too.
My own personal opinion about the episode is…

That show was great but Brad you need to work on your editing skills I mean that hole part with Gary Form Jacksonville could have been cut and the show would have not suffered in the least. Just kidding great job by every one.
If Gary would have introduced his own voicemails on the show, I think the Universe would have imploded under the weight of all that Gary in one spot.
Jarsto tore his own voice mail apart when he was on the show.

You want to do another one for two, maybe five million and I say, “You know what? No.” The fans of Babylon 5 have stood with the show for so long and when you have me write stuff with financial handcuffs on, it leads you to having creative handcuffs on. You can’t have extras, you can’t have fights, you can’t have stunts, you can’t have a lot of stuff. [unintelligible] You know what? I’ve got a lot of movies going giving me a certain credibility there…I’m gonna roll the dice. I told Warner’s: “Big budget feature film or nothing.” I own the movie rights…[applause]
There was something else unintelligible to the effect that the Lost Tales are still lost. and the fan who’d asked the question thanked him.
