Welcome to Show #301!
Macaulay Bruton joins us to talk about not only his work as “Jack” on the show, but also his work as an acting teacher and coach, and how that led to him working with Michael O’Hare and to getting his role in Season 1.
Macaulay talks about enjoying working with the main cast, and how surprised he’s been at having more fans reach out to him now than 30 years ago.
He also goes into detail on working with Michael to help him move more smoothly from stage acting to television, and how he ended up in a recurring role that ends up being the first link in a pivotal revelation to the station staff.
Michael O’Hare was also grateful to Macaulay for his work as an acting coach and teacher, and Macaulay shared an image of the poster that Michael gave him at the end of Season 1.
He also talks about getting back into acting and coaching, and we’ll keep an eye out for that!
And for those keeping count, the over-under for Tim’s Lensman reference is 33:30.
