Welcome to Show #266!

It’s Feedbackapalooza time again, complete with surprise guests and forgotten secret handshakes!

Feedback: Tim, Jeremy and special guest Michael Dymond (Stormknight) tackle the first batch of voicemails covering the recent Crusade unproduced scripts and more.

Roger takes issue with the discussion direction about Little Bugs Have Lesser Bugs, and wonders if we might have dwelled on what was written instead of considering what might have been changed in the script’s S2 pre-production; Gary has re-evaluated his initial assessment of Legend of the Rangers with an interrupted DVD watch, and he thinks that Rangers may have turned out to be a lighter more fun, action-based series that wasn’t as dependent on story arcs, since Crusade started out with having most of it’s conclusions already known; Gary weighs in on the Lost Tales discussion, and how there was an HD version that was available for an online stream for a limited time, and mulls over the possibilities that Sheridan could have killed Prince Vintari if need be;

Hated Bunny relays that JMS said that the Hand was never supposed to be more powerful than the Shadows, and that there was a strong likelihood that the Drakh had infiltrated the Rangers to influence their training; John from Jersey and the Critical Myth Podcast says that the Columbia House VHS tapes series for Babylon 5 also contained the original version of The Gathering, and talks about the existence of a double-sided test DVD; Neil from Bowie remembers Legend of the Rangers fondly, and laments the story that wasn’t told there; and Nan emails in about the holes in the story of Crusade

Stay tuned next week for the rest of the feedback from this batch, and the people joining us to review and discuss the novels with us (or for us) should be preparing to step into the on-deck circle!

Submitting your own Feedback: If you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know! Call, or just email us a comment you’ve recorded yourself!

Lurker’s Guide 2.0: Summer is expanding the documentation to be covered at Lurker’s Guide 2.0, the major change being converting the episode guide into a full Wiki with cross-referenced topics, tidbits and everything you’d want in a Wiki. She’s also still searching for pictures of rare collectibles, photos of magazine covers and toys, and all sorts of other B5 goodies that didn’t get included in the original guide during the years after Crusade. Let her know if you want to lend a hand.

More Parody/Filk Songs Wanted: If you know of any more B5-related fan songs out there, definitely let us know, so we can let other B5 fans know where to buy them! And if those CDs are out of print, let’s brainstorm on ways to get those songs back out there for fans!

Babylon 5 Information Gathering: If you know of a dead or abandoned B5 related website that may be in need of a new home, let Summer know! Maybe we can mirror it here or house it on a sister site.
