Welcome to Show #287!
Interview: Tim and Summer swoon in the presence of Mira Furlan, whose regal stature on Babylon 5 made an impression to last beyond the end of time.
Mira talks about how she got into acting, how the civil unrest in the former Yugoslavia brought she and her husband to the US, how some of that political divide made its way into the story of Babylon 5 through conversations with JMS, working with Andreas Katsulas and Bruce Boxleitner, and so much more.

I actually gasped and squealed when this came into the feed!
OMG, Summer, you’ve out done yourself. Thank you so much. I’ve listening to many of Mira’s interviews. Yours tops them all.
There is one by Dan Schneider that’s over 2 hours long and it is 9/25/16, via Skype. If you’ve not watched it is well worth it — with breaks of course.

This was a long time coming…and SO happy that Mira agreed to talk with us! I’d been sitting on my question since before the Babcast began. I’m glad that I got such an eloquent answer.
I have a bad cold, so I can only inwardly squee as I hit “play”!
I didn’t it was possible for me to love any fictional TV character any more than I loved Dana Scully from The X-Files. Delenn changed that for me.
They really were fortunate to get such amazing actors on this show!
Summer & Tim, as you may know, I am going to the Babylon 5 event in England at the end of February. I don’t know if I’ll have a chance to ask Mira any questions. Would you have any questions or remarks that you’d like me to ask Mira? If you do, feel free to send them to my email address.
I’ve never been to one of these, if you have any recommendations, please let me know as well.
The last time I talked to a star I was too star struck to get my mouth open. So I’ll write them down just in case.
Thank you
Terrie Lynn Colorado
