Pete in Cincinnati spotted something on eBay:
If either of you are still looking for “Summoning Light” by Jeanne Cavelos, you might check ebay.
There’s a hardcover version of the whole trilogy up for auction. No bids yet, 99 cent minimum, 3.50 to ship. Ends on May 21st.
The Passing of the Techno-Mages by Jeanne Cavelos
I found the auction after I decided to try to pick up the novels but before I found them all at Half Price Books.
Feel free to pass this along to others if you don’t want to bid on it.
Thus, I pass it on to you guys.
I’ve never seen a hardcover omnibus collection of these before… if anyone out there knows where these came from, let me know. I’ll do some digging myself later.

Volume 14 is now available for order @ http://www.babylon5scripts.com/
The scripts included are “The Wheel of Fire”, “Objects in Motion”, “Objects at Rest”, and “In The Beginning”
You’ll also get a replica of the highlights of J. Michael Straczynski’s Producer’s Notebook for “In the Beginning. Volume 14 is also packed with other goodies, including the opening narration credit voice-over scripts, more exclusive photos and an appendix for the script books, and much more.
Short of having JMS visit your home, and explaining how it all happened, you won’t find a better resource.
Production of the script books is due to end in May, so please don’t hesitate any longer.
Now is the time to act!
Special Reminder:

JMS will be personally signing every copy of Volume 15.
The only way to get volume 15 is if you purchase all 14 books. You must purchase volumes 1-13 plus buy 14 to get volume 15 and if you haven’t bought them from Cafe Press you need to pay the “reasonable” price of $562.06.
Volume 15 will also include the Babylon 5 writer’s bible, a breakdown of the entire 5 year story arc, with Sinclair, a detailed analysis of cut and altered scenes between the scripts and the episodes.
To see all the goodies included in volume 15 go to http://www.babylon5scripts.com/vol15.htm

From Claudia’s newsletter (via Jim Carr):
Claudia Christian’s book, “My Life With Geeks & Freaks” is now available at Amazon.
If you don’t already have a copy, you can order from Amazon at this link
According to Claudia’s newsletter, “She is working on more writing projects that will be longer next time, and your reviews will only help work our marketing.”
Jim also notes: “The first two posted reviews at Amazon are from Dean Haglund (X-Files) and Denise Crosby (Star Trek: TNG)”

For those who are still looking, I found some of the Jane Killick Season-By-Season guides today.
I’m adding 1 copy of “S2: The Coming of Shadows”, 2 copies of “S3: Point of No Return”, and 1 copy of “S4: No Surrender, No Retreat” to our “book club”. Price will be $7 each plus shipping.
I am working on a shopping cart for the site, so you can just buy the books you need. I wish I could figure out a way to let people list books they’ve rescued in their localities, because I think it might become a bit of a hassle for people to find the books, send them to the studio, and have us send them back out again.
And to the folks who’ve requested copies of the books we found, I don’t have any formal orders yet, nor shipping addresses to figure out how much shipping will cost to send these to you, so go ahead and send that info if you definitely want one of the books available for adoption from our B5 Library.

As she mentioned when she appeared on the Babylon Podcast, Claudia Christian has now published her memoir, My Life With Geeks and Freaks. An autographed copy is available from her official website. Unsigned copies can be ordered from Yard Dog Press.
It should be a fun read, but I must point out something that bothers me. The cover’s designer used a font more closely associated with Star Trek. Somebody needs to be shoved out an airlock.

Okay, I’ve added a list of the existing B5 books and their respective Amazon.com links to the Merchandise page.
To my amazement, fewer of them are out of print than I’d thought, but it still boggles me that 3rd Centauri Prime book and the 2nd Technomage book are both out of print, while the others books in those respective series aren’t. How that happens, I’ll never know.
Anyway, here are the books in the batch that Brad Bowyer “rescued” from some of his local used bookstores:
Voices by John Vornholt (OOP)
Accusations by Lois Tilton (OOP)
Blood Oath by John Vornholt (OOP)
Clark’s Law by Jim Mortimore (OOP) (2 copies)
The Touch of Your Shadow, The Whisper of Your Name by Neil Barrett, Jr (OOP)
Betrayals by S.M. Stirling (OOP)
The Shadow Within by Jeanne Cavelos
Personal Agendas by Al Sarrantonio (OOP)
To Dream in the City of Sorrows by Kathryn Drennan (1 original copy, 1 reprint copy)
In The Beginning by Peter David
Thirdspace by Peter David (OOP)
A Call to Arms by Robert Sheckley (OOP)
Psi Corps trilogy
Dark Genesis: The Birth of the Psi Corps by J. Gregory Keyes
Deadly Relations: Bester Ascendant by J. Gregory Keyes
Final Reckoning: The Fate of Bester by J. Gregory Keyes
Legions of Fire: Centauri Prime trilogy
The Long Night of Centauri Prime by Peter David
Armies of Light and Dark by Peter David
Out of Darkness by Peter David (OOP)
The Passing of the Technomages trilogy
Casting Shadows by Jeanne Cavelos
Summoning Light by Jeanne Cavelos (OOP)
Invoking Darkness by Jeanne Cavelos
And, once I’m able, I plan on dropping by a couple of huge used bookstores here in the Valley, and seeing what stashes of B5 novels I can find to add to our rescue inventory.
So, what’s a good price for the books? $5 plus shipping? I’m really open to suggestions, here.
