So, what do you want to hear?

February 12, 2006 by Summer

Okay, here’s the deal.

Jeffrey Willerth is in Phoenix for a couple of days, and he and I, along with Michael and Lorrie Mennenga, recorded what could be another Babylon Podcast episode.

Key phrase: “could be”.

It started out as a discussion/chat session, but since there was a bit of beer and tequila involved, the last 15-20 minutes or so kinda evolved into a minor league Wingin’ It episode.

So, is that tangentially non-B5 talk something you guys want to hear, or should we just keep it in the can?

Post it! Any discussion is good, especially about sci-fi!

I think a little off-topic rambling is great. It allows us to get to know folks beyond the frame of the shows, be it tDP or B5. I’m all for it.

Definitely release it – it all its unedited glory.

I say release it. If people don’t like it they can skip-to-the-end.

I certainly would like to hear the whole discussion.

If the non B5 talk is at the end of the recording then it may be worthwhile advising listeners of this in the podcast introduction so that those listeners only interested in the B5 discussion can skip the tequlia ramblings.

More is always better than less.

Not to mention that tequlia always makes for interesting conversaions.

    Keep up the good work!!!

Yep release it. Somehow a drunken party is very much B5. All we have to do is were Green or Purple scarfs ๐Ÿ™‚

Definitely put it up. If anything the description intrigues me. And why shouldn’t beer and tequila mix with the series that gave us the Centauri religious ceremony from Parliament of Dreams.

    Valtu!

Go for it! Since most of us can’t remember most liquor-induced conversations–or hafl of college, in my case–it’s cool to have it on tape (as it were)!

Hey, I love Wingin’ It! Beer and B5 works for me! ๐Ÿ™‚

For lack of a better place to post this, I’m putting it here. I apologize for bringing down the thread, but I think everyone here would want to know ASAP:

    “Babylon 5’s Katsulas Dies”

I’ll miss his performances terribly — he was one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood, and arguably the greatest actor in all of Babylon 5.

It’s been a great series of podcasts so far, and I’ve really been enjoying listening to them.

It would be really nice to devote at least a portion of the next episode to reflection on the passing of Andreas Katsulas. He was a gifted actor and one community that always appreciated him were the fans of B5.

    He will be sorely missed.
