Welcome to Show #257!
It’s been way too quiet on the Babylon 5 front AND the Crusasde Script Books front. What’s going on?
Feedbackapalooza: Arkle confirms that there is a Jeremiah Season 2 DVD out there, but it’s an Amazon on-demand special order; Rapid Eye puts forth his theory why there aren’t any pictures of Summer on the website; Gary calls shenanigans on the Thieves Guild having the firepower to take out a White Star; Neil from Bowie calls in about enjoying reading the B5 short stories and comics;
Neil sends props out to “Sympathy for Mr. Morden” (by Jeff and Maya Bohnhoff), and wants to know if that artist has any more Babylon 5 related material; Neil talks about his time playing the B5 CCG; Gary asks our opinion on JMS’ touting the sales of the comics titles when he was writing for them; Gary doesn’t think it’s possible to come up with an effective “short list” for the series without shortchanging the overall story; Gary talks about recent Mars probe developments and discoveries, which leads Tim down a tangent trail about sending probes out into space rather than sending manned flights anymore;
Neil also enjoyed “He’s a Vorlon”… and yes, Neil, we do need more B5 parody songs!
Also, folks preparing to review and discuss the comics and novels with us (or for us), get ready… your turn will be coming up soon!
Submitting your own Feedback: If you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know! Call, or just email us a comment you’ve recorded yourself!
Lurker’s Guide 2.0: Summer is expanding the documentation to be covered at Lurker’s Guide 2.0, the major change being converting the episode guide into a full Wiki with cross-referenced topics, tidbits and everything you’d want in a Wiki. She’s also still searching for pictures of rare collectibles, photos of magazine covers and toys, and all sorts of other B5 goodies that didn’t get included in the original guide during the years after Crusade. Let her know if you want to lend a hand.
More Parody/Filk Songs Wanted: If you know of any more B5-related fan songs out there, definitely let us know, so we can let other B5 fans know where to buy them! And if those CDs are out of print, let’s brainstorm on ways to get those songs back out there for fans!

xD I love your little sly comment at the Gmail. I know that theres atleast one question which has been sent to your G-mail (wink, wink) and hopefully you will get arround to them during your next feedbackaplalooza.
I can’t wait for your opinion on Legend of the Rangers, and its great to know that you guys are still going strong!
Also, yeah. Summer – I will forever more have a Mental image of you being Lucy Liu :3
As to the persona of Summer’s true identity?
I’d say her pleasant dulcet tones and snarky humor are none other than – Claudia Christian, or at least her sister.
Obviously Summer graciously remains anonymous so folks remember that Tim and Bret are on the show too.
Part of Summer’s charm is the mystery…
That said both the Lucy Liu image and Summer hiding out in the Government Warehouse(TM) are both amusing ๐
Re: B5-themed filk, look up “Byron” by Jeff and Maya Bonhoff. I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without pointing it out to you guys.
… and Sympathy for Mr. Morden
on the same album
‘Aliens Ate My Homework’
Can we get the links for the B5 CCG stuff. I am still an active player and there is a tournament coming up this month. I hate to break it to George, but I was the first one to point the stupidity of the thieves guild attacking the Rangers.
Summer will probably get these up somewhere , but here is what I have:
A great B5 CCG card website [Vorlon Space] is
http://b5ccg.mahasamatman.com/
http://b5ccg.mahasamatman.com/Lists.HTML
There are images of most if not all the cards there.
Another great site
http://b5quest.pbworks.com/w/page/12224321/B5CCG
which has two virtual sets of cards that were planned but didn’t come out.
It also has tournament rules and errata to the published cards. It
refers back to Vorlon Space for the published cards.

This is sort of off topic…but has anyone ever seen this:

I thought it was a rather clever edit of the Season 4 Babylon 5 intro!
